Our teams are usually made up of either six or eight dogs, but sometimes we use ten, twelve, or fourteen. Are they always the same breed? Yes, always Alaskan Huskies. Do the dogs get the summers off? No, we train all year. In the summer, we run the dogs in front of ATVs instead of sleds. We train them two or three days a week in the spring and summer, and almost every day in autumn and winter. What’s your top speed? Probably about 30 kilometers per hour.
